To clarify and boost the importance of high-tech innovation in social themes and missions, Topsector HTSM annually organizes the HiTMaT Call.
The HitMaT Call is an incentive program to inspire consortia to provide promising high-tech solutions in collaborative research programs. This year 60 project proposals were received from scientists from industry and research organizations. M2i is involved in 3 of the nominated programs, with a chance to win € 25,000 in seed money for the set-up of a public-private collaborative project, relating high-tech research innovation to one of 5 social themes. In the Climate and Circular Economy theme we are nominated with the programs “Data enhanced physical models to reduce material use: a game changer in materials modeling” and “Innovative health monitoring for circular steel infrastructure”. In the theme Mobility, the “Enabling the Energy and Environmental Transition through Multi Material Design and Additive Manufacturing (ENGAGE IN AM)” has been nominated. Winners will be announced in October, at the Holland High-Tech fall event.
