Wageningen University new academic partner M2i

Wageningen University joined M2i in September 2012. By signing the partner agreement, the expertise and research facilities of Wageningen University are now available to the M2i community.

In turn, Wageningen University is now connected to the industrial and academic network of the M2i materials community with lots of potential for cooperation in the field of material innovation. Although the emphasis in M2i is on abiotic or non-living materials, there are many interesting material topics which can be worked on together. The first M2i research project by Wageningen University will be on new coatings for inkjet printer heads for Océ by Han Zuilhof of the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry.

Wageningen University is the 20th university partner of M2i and the 8th Dutch university partner. Other Dutch university partners are the University of Groningen, the University of Twente, Leiden University, Delft University of Technology, Eindhoven University of Technology, the Dutch Institute For Fundamental Energy Research and Utrecht University.
