The top team High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM) has entrusted M2i with the leadership of the roadmap High Tech Materials. As leader of this roadmap, M2i will take care of the materialization of the plans described in this document. One of the first steps in this process will be to translate the commitment of the industry into actual project proposals: to follow up on the Letters of Intent that were received from industry while composing the High Tech Materials roadmap last year.

M2i will also provide a yearly update of the roadmap and will advise granting organizations, such as NWO, on the compatibility of project proposals with the (growth) areas as defined in the roadmap.

About the roadmap
Last year, together with TNO, NLR and NWO, M2i has developed the roadmap High Tech Materials, one of the 15 roadmaps collected in the innovation contract of the topsector HTSM. As support for the roadmap M2i received from industry more than 40 Letters of Intent (LOIs) with a total annual value of more than 20 million. M2i has also been actively involved in the development of the human capital agenda of the topsector.
