From 1 January 2012, the ThermoPlastic composite Research Center (TPRC) has joined the M2i research program as a new partner.
TPRC is an open innovation, research- and development center that aims for thermoplastic composites for a broad range of end use markets. Thermoplastic composites are important materials for many contemporary high end applications in transport, industry, energy and healthcare. The first project within the M2i framework will focus on the topic of hybrid joints between metals and thermoplastic composites.
TPRC will join the current 37 industrial and 18 university partners of M2i.
