On 15 December the annual MKB-dag for SMEs was held in Breukelen. The M2i MKB-dag focuses on materials innovation for SMEs. During the day new developments in materials innovation were presented to the over 120 visitors.
The day started with an introduction by M2i's managing director Sibbe Hoekstra and two keynote speakers. First keynote speaker was Jo van de Put, innovation advisor at Syntens and well-known author, followed by Jacques Stevens of Stevens idé partners. The morning programme was concluded by Elevator Pitches by the companies present on the SME Market during lunch time.
During the afternoon the results of M2i's SME cluster projects were shown in four sessions. The MKB-dag was concluded with a informal drink for both speakers and visitors, where knowledge and new insights were shared and new contacts were established.
The MKB-dayproved a fruitful experience for those present and supplied knowledge and inspiration to continue material innovation in SMEs in 2012.
