Herman Terryn, professor at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB) and cluster leader of M2i's cluster 6 (Durability), has been rewarded a Methusalem subsidy in Belgium. He will receive 3.5 million euro over a 7 year period for his research project Design and Prediction of Nanostructured Metal Surfaces (NANOMET) at the VUB.
