Start-up companies are a key driver for innovation. M2i stimulates and helps researchers to start their own business:

The M2i program generates knowledge, processes, and products that are a great and solid base to create new businesses.

M2i actively stimulates and supports PhDs and PostDocs to start their own businesses after their research project.

M2i helps and guides the processes that are necessary to start up a new business.

M2i facilitates workshops and courses in the field of entrepreneurship and start-up companies.

M2i helps with new business creation by means of project support, M2i membership, use of the M2i network, making available use of all facilities within our institute, and guidance in financial possibilities offered by the Dutch government.
Service for M2i researchers
The Start-up Companies module provides a special service to PhDs and PostDocs of M2i who want to start a new business or are curious to find out how to set up a business of their own. M2i also helps people who have a great idea for business creation, but do not want to start on their own.
