M2i at Laser Event 2010

On Tuesday, March 30, 2010 the Laser Event 2010 is planned. The event is initiated to inform researchers, providers and users of lasers about the market trends and developments. In this edition special attention will be given to the 50th anniversary of the laser. The presentation of the "Factory of the Future" by AWL will be the highight of the day. This is a new concept of two robots that are sharing a laser system.

The Laser Event is an annual event that brings researchers, suppliers and users together. The Laser Event 2010 addresses the state of laser technology, based on developments in science that will lead to a result in the Industry within three years. This creates a good view of the current and future trends in laser technology. This is not only interesting for (future) users, but also for suppliers and researchers. The program for the 2010 edition consists of a plenary session focusing on research and general trends. The other part comprises two parallel sessions, one for lasermicro working and one for material processing with lasers. M2i will give some information about the valorization programma during this session.

The event will take place at the area of the University of Twente Enschede.
